GOOD NEWS!

So my mom approved the Bill Me Later option, however, I went to click submit on the freakin' order and the little bugger would not allow me to complete my order with the lovely HP computer. So, apparently the first time I clicked submit, I did not have a Bill Me Later account. The next time I hit the submit order button, it was my billing address! ('Twas the fact that I'm not supposed to put a PO Box as my billing address because it isn't considered a valid billing address.)  So I called Bill Me Later and they were saying I had to wait for a letter.  Immediately I panicked because I thought it was a postage letter, which it was just email. So then I get on my gmail and look at the letter (this is when I realized what I just stated.) I called Equifax and Bill Me Later and HP Support numerous, I mean numerous times. And the more I spoke on the phone with them, while the more they weren't really understanding what I was saying or where on earth I was coming from, the more frustrated and short breathed I felt... So, for right now, in this moment, no sexy computer for me. Totally bummed, mostly because tomorrow, if in some parallel reality, my Bill Me Later status comes through, the special that ends tonight won't be available to me. *Sigh* Bummed bummed bummed... So yeah, please let me know if you have any input on PC laptop searching, any good links, feel free to post, any good deals, any words of encouragement, etc, etc. Right about now I'm struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel... And maybe I just need to put my bifocals on. Okay well, deep breaths until next time keep the peace folks! Signing off...

New Pitch for a means of obtaining the laptop of my DREAMS!

SO for about 2 months now, I have been obsessing and stressing about how to get the scholarships to cover my $11,000 I'm in the hole for, getting a laptop to make classes easier and more accessible, last minute paperwork, and the rest of the important supplies for college enrollment. Today I had an epiphany on how to get that laptop that is excellent for not too much money! It's called Bill Me Later (BML). Well, on the HP website, BML has a special that ends tomorrow at midnight for the "No Payments + No Interest if paid in full in 6 months with Bill Me Later," meaning if I do Bill Me Later, I can pay in full before February of 2012 and not have to worry about stressing over interest. The biggest obstacle now is selling my mom on this pitch! But anyhow, now my stress and obsession has only transformed into anxiousness and giddiness and a much more benign form of obsession than before. At this point, I can't wait to be done with all the supply purchases so I can sit it down and still my mind... Did you guys know that 4 out of 10 college students admit they often feel stressed? And those were just the ones that admitted it. So aside from the other 3 million tasks needed to complete for my preparedness for this college situation, the next, and definitely not last, thing needed to be added on my list is stress management... oh, and study habits/ techniques, but that is another blog post. So, keep in mind 2011 high school grads, don't let the stress pull you under! Signing off...

prepping for a JOURNEY.

Hello All, Matthias here! The first post and I'm super-excited! 

So the whole point of this blog is to keep my sanity before and during this college excursion...
Anywho, as the first blog post, I would like to thank all of you who have helped me get to this exact moment I stand, well technically sit, in! A major accomplishment was just that, getting here! So in the next coming weeks, and so on, lol, I will be thanking all of you for your help... and support, dropping knowledge about maybe a hundred different little college-nugget-update type of situations, seeking advice on different occurrences and good ways to raise money, and sharing nice little anecdotes that will ensure to evoke plenty of laughs and of course the other stuff... but we won't speak of the other stuff. So yes, this blog definitely exists, and sorry for the extremely long blogspot name but hey! It is totally original and I can almost completely assure that it is an original title. :) Okay, signing off...
